How to Get There

From Manila:

Maydolong E. Samar can be reached either through plane or bus:
A regular flight from Manila to Tacloban is about 45 minutes plus checking-in, boarding and alighting the aircraft, then you'll have an approximately 2 - 3 hours trip. From Tacloban City, is a 2-3 hour van ride through San Juanico Bridge and Sta. Maria-Giporlos Road.


A regular bus ride from Cubao, Quezon City (Araneta Bus Terminal) to Maydolong is on the average 24 hours. Bus fare range from Php900 (ordinary) to Php1500 (air-conditioned).

Maydolongnons take pride of their Menasnge Beach which is well-known for its beautiful rock formations, interesting landscapes, cozy cottages, and a wonderful view of the Pacific Ocean!

During fiesta celebrations (patrons), the Maydolongnons always welcome friends, families, and guests to their homes, serving them with much food and drinks untill every single visitor satisfy their craving.
